Doyald Young

Recently I have been trying to learn more about typography. Through this new interest I have come across the work of Doyald Young. In addition to being really incredible and drawing letters, he seems to have been a really amazing person. From videos I have seen, it appears like he was a true gentleman, you know the kind of person you meet and all you can think is, "they just don't make them like that anymore!" If you have a minute, go look up a video about Doyald on lynda.com (I watched that video for reference for this drawing). 

I've been building some new tools for deviantART muro, and whenever I change something big I like to make a long painting or two to test that everything is working as it should. I'm leaving the redraw available for this so that I can do various testing on it, but in all likelihood it will not work for most people (since the version of deviantART muro I used is not live yet). Apologies for that.
