I realized that most people using deviantART Muro probably are not aware that there are a lot of hotkeys available.

Yes ctrl = (cmd = on a mac). You can also use the + and - buttons in the upper right of the app.

this needs to go in the help menu haha. Thanks for the info, I just set all these key bindings on my tablet and I can work like I do in PS! Without the layer blending modes... any chance those are on the to do list?

As browsers stand right now, I think that layer blending modes would take too much processing power (native apps have some tricks at their disposal that are just not possible with javascript). However, some new stuff is coming down the pipeline in the HTML spec that would make it possible. So basically it is a feature that is on our radar but we have to wait until either the new HTML stuff gets into browsers or I have some flash of inspiration about how to do it quickly with the current limitations.

Woah.
By the way, I thought it said "Increase brain effect" instead of "Increase brush effect" for a second there. XD

Little did you know that deviantART muro has a direct connection to your brain effect! :-)

I knew it was some form of advanced Javascript that caused this addiction to deviantART...

Thank you for putting this up. Sometimes, the brush adjustments disappear. This would help me.

The brush adjustments disappearing is probably caused by your browser being zoomed out.  We should have a fix for this soon, but in the meantime if you press ctrl-0 (or cmd-0 on the mac) you should get them back.

Is there keys to flip the canvas?

Er OnO;;
An Shift/Alt H&V?

I flip my canvas a lot so. . .
Also will there ever be a way to just flip the thing I've selected?

I also found out that if you have "alt gr" touched you can draw a line to a direction and if you have shift touched you can draw a line from a point to another

You've added an extra "o" to lasso, you should fix that, It's a good thing that you've provided us with these I was getting so frustrated at finding the shortcut to fill cuz' I'm already used to using Photoshop

Thanks :)

I was just wondering, since you seem like such a pro at using deviantART muro: When I'm using the 'go back' (ctrl-z) button, whay does it only let me go back three or four times?
It's REALLY annoying, so I was wondering if you knew a way to by-pass that.

:iconmudimba:

It's done that way because web browsers do not have enough resources to store more levels of undo. We have a plan on how to address this, but it is quite hard to implement. So, I'm not sure when we will be able to implement it.

can i ask a muro quiestion?

how do you add more layers when using pro?
Reply
:iconmudimba:

Either press the + button below where you see the layers, or press ctrl-n (cmd-n on mac). This list of hotkeys is a little out dated and needs to have things like that added.
